Today marks a month and a half into editing the longest, most complex piece of work that I’ve ever stewarded.
Currently standing at around 2 hours and 20 minutes, this film weaves together intimate stories and moments that I’ve captured from 2018 to now, and spanning four different countries. It has been a daunting task, but I’ve finally arrived at the point where I can start to see the story taking form—incentive to keep moving forward even though it feels terrifying to do so.
Last week, one of my childhood best friends came to town for a wedding and we were able to spend some time together. Over lunch with both of our partners, we sat and talked about our grandmothers.
